Since 1980 Nicolao Atelier has been making historical costumes and dresses, with a focus on the history of Venetian costume, active on the international scene of cinema-theater and opera performances.
Cinematheatrical productions
Atelier Nicolao works for the most important opera productions and international theaters, from the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Washington to the New National Theatre of Tokyo, from Teatro La Fenice in Venice to the National Theatre of Shanghai.
Film productions range from Marco Polo and Farinelli, to the latest collaborations for "Veneciafrenia" by award-winning director Alex De La Iglesia, and for the film "Across the River and Into the Trees" with Liev Schreber and Matilda De Angelis.
